I am Colleen the owner, designer and seamstress, and a wife and mother of 3 little girls. My girls are my inspiration for the products here at Sugar Creek Kids. I love girl's clothing which isn't over the top fussy. Clothes that combine a fun unique blend of comfortable and feminine! I aim to create pieces that can easily bridge the gap between play and a special occasion.

I am a Graduate of Harrington Institute of Interior Design and have been a Chicago based Professional Interior Designer for over 18 years now.  My obsession with fabrics, colors, stylish clothing and design has always been in me.  I have been creating and designing as long as I can remember. Many years of experience in sewing, designing and creating has lead me to the world of Etsy and my own Boutique Web Shop. Each piece of my clothing is Original and All Hand-Made, Inspiring the Girl's who wear them. All of my designs are serged and professionally finished. They are high quality and durable to last for years to come.

The fabrics I use, for Sugar Creek Kids Clothing, I purchase in LIMITED QUANTITIES. If you see something you like, don't wait to get it, as it might not be here tomorrow. And once it's gone, it's gone. Some fabric manufacturers do not remake the fabrics and they may turn over quickly!
